About

Berry&Grove expanded out of a desire to create the type of content we were looking for online. It’s a repository of life, and a platform to capture whatever creative endeavor we find worth pursuing.

Especially after we both left careers, we wanted a space to continue hobbies and an excuse to work together. A digital playground of sorts. A place to flesh out crazy ideas, share experiences, and an extra platform to create all sorts of projects. All without inundating our personal social feeds.

What You’ll Find Here

With candor and a touch of humor, you’ll find writing reflections, ideas for everyday living, and honest reviews of products. (We’ve committed to not include sponsored posts or ads at this point, but do include affiliate links when relevant.)

In general, expect to see content on parenting, home life, culture, gardening, and travel (focus on Ohio plus any adventures), with some faith, baking, and DIY mixed in.

Why call it Berry&Grove?

Berry and Grove are family names. The names our grandmothers left behind when they married.

The names and their nature-oriented meanings balance each other and reflect the balance we hope to achieve in life: Berries as bright colors, delightful treats, and nourishment for the body. And groves, prompting solitude, closeness, and growth — nourishment for the soul.

We promise:

  • To put the recipe at the TOP of the page, and add random personal stories at the end as optional reading only.
  • To give realistic expectations for projects or activities. If it’s an awesome outcome but super annoying to set up or takes forever to complete, we’ll tell ya.
